About Us

Association Of Private Family Doctors is a membership body for family doctors in private practice. Its members are physicians who care for patients over time — often across generations of the same family — outside institutional or hospital settings.

The Association is not a clinic and does not provide medical treatment. It is a professional organization: it exists so that independent family doctors are not isolated in their practice, and so that the discipline of family medicine has a collective voice.

The Association is registered under Organization ID VO/1803.

To support private family doctors in delivering careful, continuous and ethical care to the families they serve, and to strengthen family medicine as a profession through shared learning and common standards.

A setting in which every family has access to a trusted family doctor who knows their history, and in which independent family physicians are professionally supported, well-informed and held to a clear ethical standard.
